In February of this year I was lucky enough to be nominated and win the category of Development Coach of the Year for Leicestershire. As a result of this achievement I went on to be nominated for the Regional Coach of the Year Award for the Midlands. This encompasses 13 counties across the midlands, and I was very fortunate to win the midlands region. To recognise this achievement and be presented with my award and certificate I was invited to be a guest of the LTA at the Rothesay Classic event held at Edbgaston Priory Tennis Club. I was presented with my trophy and certificate by Sandi Procter, President of the LTA and was fortunate to meet professional tennis players Freya Christie and Ali Collins who are competing at Wimbledon this week.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me with the coaching programme and the delivery of sessions, it is a team effort to ensure that the coaching sessions are enjoyable for everyone.
